World Wide Web Assignment

You mission in groups of 2-3 is to make a travel brochure for a city in a German speaking country. At the end of the project, we will have made travel brochures for a variety of cities. The main web site to be accessed in http://www.stadtplandienst.de/query. After accessing the main page for your city, you will choose AT LEAST 5 different web sites and create a brochure with pictures and information from the sites. Upon completion of the brochure, your groups will present your information to the class.

Your project must include:

1. Information from at least 5 different web sites — PLEASE print the first page of each web site.
2. Pictures from the web sites accessed with descriptions of the places a tourist can visit in the city.
3. A front cover with your city on the front and things that can be viewed inside.
4. Important information that a tourist would want to know. For example, where to exchange money, what the weather would be like, where to find tourist information, phone numbers, where to eat, etc.
5. IT MUST BE IN GERMAN WITHOUT USING A TRANSLATOR
6. Accurate or close to accurate information. Don’t make anything up — if you have questions, just ask!

You will turn in your brochure and the printouts of 5 web pages (see #1)
