Module 6: Readings The purpose of a Multicultural Project is to provide you with a structured, and disciplined opportunity to create something that you can really use in your teaching practice. As you can see, our course is rich in ideas and resources. The Project allows you to plan a meaningful learning experience . The emphasis is on planning. I understand that generating a Multicultural Project is a complex and time-consuming activity. Consider this a work in progress. As such, it is wise to carefully consider your options before you make your choice. Once you choose a project, commit to it. By beginning the process early in our course, you'll have more time to create and elaborate your project ideas. A good plan will help you organize and think about your classroom and the learning needs of your students. Keep in mind that your plan will also be a guide for others who might not have your background. Be sure to explain your thinking clearly and completely so those that follow might benefit from your hard work. We'll be using a somewhat generic plan format for this project. I suggest you word process your plan and then copy and paste the need information into the webform found on the SiteMap. Basic Elements:
